Bo Bo

His new word for his penis. Yes I'm for real! I don't know where he got it... well actually I do. Anyways, he tries to find the teddy bears bo bo, daddy's bo bo, and my moms dog Harley's bo bo. He thinks it's funny.
Well, it's better than talleywhaker, nuggets, tooter or for God sakes GEETER! C. called it a Geeter when he was little :) Too funny!

Wiggle wiggles, whoo whoo's and choo choo's~ OH MY!

My child is obsessed lately with carrying all of these "objects" around with him wherever he goes! He carries them from the pool, to his room, in the car, to the nursery, to the table, on mommy's bed, to the tub. All the while saying... "My whoo whoo (boats)" "Choo, choos (trains)," "Cars," "Wiggle, Wiggle (pool toys)," "Paw paw (his plane)" He calls his plane paw paw because his grammy's fiance flies airplanes and ever since he stayed with them when we went on vacation he has been calling the toy plane Paw Paw and Mimi.???? Go figure~ Anyways, he yearns for these toys... I mean it sounds really pitiful the way he calls for them if he can't find them. It's like Little Bo Peep who lost his sheep!
Oh yeah, and now that he has been swimming he likes to carry his "snap snap (alligator float" everywhere too!
Where do I draw the line here? I mean if we are going upstairs he gives them all to me one by one... naming them as he gives them to me... because he can't climb the stairs with all of them in his hand. It takes us like 10 minutes to get up the freaking stairs with all of his parafenalia! Today he took 2 wiggle wiggles, his blankey, and a "paw paw plane" into the gym nursery. If I had took them from him he would have had a complete 2 year old breakdown... He wanted to carry 4 wiggle wiggles, the plane, a motorcycle and truck, plus the blankey but I downsized for him...against his will of coures. Hmmmmmmm is he insecure b/c he feels he has to carry all this stuff everywhere with him? Or is he just a toddler and becoming attached to his "things" ?
Well, I am going to draw the line at taking snap snap everywhere.... can you imagine going into the store with a big alligator float? No, I'm definitly not going to let it get that far!
Here he is fast asleep during naptime with his Paw paw plane and 1 choo choo. It's all I would let him have. He wanted all 3 boats also but that was too much for me to have to transfer into the bed once I rocked him to sleep.
Isn't he so cute!

Guess I should be thankful he doesn't want to carry around a bunch of dolls huh?
Doing "crazy face his Paw Paw Larry taught him...

June at the Siniards! 2009

Ryder is starting to form sentences~ really just repeating what we have said and lately everything is "A mess." Whether it's a pile of laundry or sand on his fingers... "It's a mess!"
It's really funny how much Ryder is like Chad. I mean you know he sticks his tongue out but even down to hating getting dirty he is just like Chad! Sandy, C. mom said he was the same way when he was little. Ryder can't stand a mess. That's why he doesn't eat cake, like to finger paint, or anything like that. It's really a blessing to me! Less messes to clean up!
Lately if he's playing in the sand he'll say, "Uh oh!" when he gets sand on his hands. He can't stand it! I've showed him how to just brush it off but it never fails... he says "uh oh!" and has a fit everytime a couple particals of sand stick to his fingers. I hope this doesn't mean he'll be gay or something!

So we took our 2nd annual trip as Mommy and Daddy ALONE last week and had a REALLY good time~ if all we did was sleep in it would have been so worth the 6 hour drive. So we slept until 9 or so everyday and didn't have a single thing on our agenda's except to relax~ oh and drink quite a few margaritas. Chad makes a mean margarita... they were so delicious I sipped on one all day~ something I have never done but plan on doing again in the near future!
Here's some pictures of us in Destin

What's been going on lately...

I've created my website~ sort of... it's a work in progress. In between Chad studying and working 24/7 I am lucky that he could create some sort of logo for my site. Check it out... http://michellesiniardphotography.com
It's definitly coming along. I'm trying to set up 2 newborn session right now~ free of charge of course! Kind of sucks to work for free but that's the only way I can get pictures for my portfolio right now!

For Earth Day Ryder and I planted flowers... Gerber Daisies. He wanted to help so bad! He loves to play in the dirt~ typical boy!

So Ryder learned 2 new words last weekend~ bitch and poo poo. Well, we think it was bitch... not totally sure and hoping it wasn't. I've told me lovely husband to watch what he says around Ryder because he is repeating things now. Well~ lets just say I brought up having another child... he didn't think it was a good idea... I gave him the cold shoulder... he said I was being bitchy. Next thing you know little Rye is spouting out... Beeeach. Or something that sounded very, very similar to it! Yeah, nice huh? All I need is R. going to MMO and saying that in the Catholic Church!
Well, he hasn't said it since, except once last night so whatever he was saying is hopefully forgotten for now.

It's almost Mothers Day! Can't believe it will be my 2nd! I am so lucky to have a beautiful, precious little boy. He really has changed my life and keeps me laughing everyday.

His new thing is to say, "Hey!" to EVERYONE he sees. It's so cute... with a little southern twang to it. It sounds more like this..."Hayyyyyy!" I was rocking him to sleep the other night and he was not tired at all. I hate nights like that. I sit there and rock him for and hour before he finally gives into the night. But this night he finishes his bottle (yes he still take a "sports bottle" at night) and then sites up and proceeds to start telling all of his stuffed animals, "Hayyy! Hayyy! Hayyy!" It went on and on. As much as I was ready for him to BE QUIET and fall asleep, I couldn't help but laugh.

I think he is getting an accent. Chad reminded me last night I never wanted Ryder to call me Mama... but Mommy. Well, he says, "Maaaaaaaaaaaama, maaaaaaaama, maaaaaaaaaama" in the most drawn out southern dialect it seems. I hope he doesn't talk like that for ever! Like his daddy :) Chad calls his dad, "Dead-y" Like dead.. as in not breathing... and with a y at the end. He's out grown most of his southern accent but when I met him, oh my gosh! I remember laughing inside when I would here him talk in class. Country boy! He was a cowboy~ what do you expect, right! Yee haw! I just hope we move out of this state before Ryder develops too much of an Alabama twang!

We went flower picking with our MOMS Group. Would have been fun had Ryder been in a good mood. One of those days! Here's some photos from that day~

Last weekend we let him get down and dirty in the backyard.

My little chatterbox

Botanical Gardens... Mommy and Ryder photo shoot

So Ryder is growing so fast. I wrote down how many words he says the other day and it was like 25! At 18 month I think that's pretty good. And he has picked up a few more in the past week. Here are some of his favorite words:
~Apple (even though he won't eat them very well)
~Bubbles
~Bye Bye! This is what he says all day long if we haven't gone anywhere. He always wants to go somewhere. I guess he's like his Mommy in that way.
~Car
~Truck
~Hot. He says this when I say Chicken Nugget b/c he know he needs to blow them to cool them off. Its so cute to see him blow his nuggets :)
~Nana??? I don't know why he says this but he says it when he wants something. It's his code word for "I want what I'm looking at! NOW!"
~Two, three! He say's this before he's about to throw something so watch out if you here him say those 2 words! You have to stay alert in this house or you might get bonked in the head with a flying object!
~Other he says are "Cat, dog, choo choo, ball" and a few others.

Yesterday at the park Ryder met a new friend who was a bit older than him. They played ball together for a while. All of the sudden the boy said, "I think he said a cuss word." I said, "No, he's too little to say those words... he doesn't know them." I think he thought R. said Shit but he always says shi shi shi... for some unknown reason!

He's my handsome little man. Oh, and he is starting to learn "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." He is pretty good at it. He just misses his knees.

I had a photography session last weekend with my neighbor and her little dude. It was fun and a beautiful day. The only thing was little Sebastion held onto his car the whole time and wouldn't hardly crack a smile. Toddlers are just hard to take pictures of as it is because they are ALL over the place. I would have a great shot of him and then Ryder would run into the scene! Daddy was on-call so Rye Rye came with. It was interesting!!! Here are a few of my favorites from the day...

I almost died today

Spinning Class was insanely hard today!!! I was on the bike and looked around and thought to myself..."These people must be freaking crazy!" And then told myself I was right in the middle of them! This instructor...tall and thin, I really don't know where she gets her energy from. Maybe she gets mad at her husband before every class or something and takes it out on us. She should be in the Marines. Anyways, I've only thrown up once from this class... it was the first one I ever took like 4 or 5 years ago. But today I came close again. I feel like I need to go repent even though I'm not Catholic. I didn't cuss out loud but the f word ran thru my head quite a few times. So Marisa, if you read this, be glad you weren't there today!

Ryder is saying "I know, I know, I know..." over and over for the past 3 days. I wonder what he thinks he knows? Everything :) Oh and his latest thing, which is adorable, is he gives kisses. He'll pucker up his lips and lean in to kiss you if you ask him for one! My little sweetheart!

My little guy last weekend

So I am wanting to start doing photography... more than just taking Ryder's pictures. I want to do it professionally and am really seriously thinking about it. Why is it that once you have a child it is hard to get motivated to do something for yourself? Before Ryder I went to college and then back to school again. Now, I have all of these great ideas but for some reason do not get them rolling? Hmmmmm~ what is it that keeps me from it?

Well, I am in the process of creating the photography website so hopefully it won't take til this time next year! I'll keep everyone updated :)

Our earring making party is Thursday and I'm really excited about it and also for the fact that it's the last Moms Night Out I have to plan. I passed the torch onto a friend. I discovered it's WAY more fun to just show up for an event than to plan it! Thanks Gaby for putting on the party!!!!

Watching his 1st snowfall
